Amazon Web Services (AWS) has recently signed a multi-year joint marketing agreement with the Vibe-Coding startup Superblocks to embed Superblocks' development tools into AWS customers' private cloud environments. This collaboration will enable enterprise users to utilize Vibe-Coding features on their internal private clouds, ensuring that application data is not sent to model providers or external databases, but instead runs directly in the Amazon Aurora database and automatically integrates with the Amazon Bedrock platform, incorporating the enterprise's IT management and security systems.

Brad Meneses, co-founder and CEO of Superblocks, stated that the core value of the solution lies in keeping data within the enterprise at all times, relying on AWS accounts to provide security guarantees such as auditing, encryption, and network control. AWS will also assist Superblocks in promoting the solution to enterprise customers, with a spokesperson noting that this is a strong alignment based on customer needs and construction methods.

Amazon and Superblocks' Collaboration Will Drive the Internalization of Enterprise AI Applications

Currently, AWS has not launched a Vibe-Coding product aimed at enterprise users; its Kiro is primarily targeted at the developer community, while Quick is closer to a traditional AI assistant. Therefore, the collaboration with Superblocks is seen as an important step in filling this gap. Superblocks was founded in May 2025 and has completed Series A financing, raising a total of US$60 million, with approximately 50 employees. Investors include well-known firms such as Spark Capital and Kleiner Perkins.

The deeper significance of this collaboration is that major cloud service providers are encouraging enterprise customers to separate AI models from the other infrastructure needed to run enterprise AI and to complete deployment on their own cloud platforms. They hope that enterprises will purchase AI application frameworks, orchestration tools, and security services from cloud platforms rather than relying on cutting-edge model providers. In recent weeks, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has also been conveying similar messages to enterprise customers, suggesting the adoption of a multi-model strategy to reduce costs and avoid lock-in, while pointing out that AI labs may not be reliable in terms of orchestration and application layer frameworks, posing risks of competing with enterprise data.
