This idea has ultimately evolved into LAYAI Browser Connect, a free Chrome extension designed to allow users to easily connect their LAYAI accounts through the browser and view their connection time and participation points. The developers state they are refining LAYAI based on a simple principle: participation should be understandable and voluntary, suggesting users start with the Chrome settings guide to check what the browser partner records, and can use pause or disconnect to maintain control. The LAYAI Team provides a contact email at hello@layai.pro. The product is also designed to keep users in control during the usage process.
From Concept to Product
The design purpose of LAYAI Browser Connect is to provide a simple participation experience, allowing users to understand what they are recording and to stop participation at any time without needing to learn complex terminology. The core of this extension is to connect LAYAI accounts, display eligible browser connection time, and showcase prototype participation points. Users can choose to pause or disconnect at any time.
Features and User Experience
The features of LAYAI Browser Connect are designed to simplify the user participation process. Users first need to visit LAYAI's official website, then follow the official Chrome Web Store link to install the extension. After installation, users can connect their LAYAI accounts according to the documentation process and check the connection status and eligible time of the extension. Users can stop participation at any time using the pause or disconnect feature. This extension does not read browsing history or page content.
Pricing Strategy and Competitive Analysis
LAYAI Browser Connect is a free extension, with no charges for installation or use. Users only need to have a free LAYAI account and a stable internet connection to participate. The developers point out that the participation points from this extension are not redeemable tokens or guaranteed earnings. They state there is no direct equivalent for comparison and note that the independent LAYAI Windows client represents a different participation avenue, not a feature of the extension.
