The inaugural "New Industrial Elite Enterprise Cultivation Program" award ceremony was successfully held on October 21, 2026. The program is guided by the Innovation and Technology Bureau, organized by the Hong Kong New Industrial Development Alliance, and the Hong Kong Productivity Council serves as the secretariat. Program Background and Objectives
The program aims to respond to the "First Five-Year Plan for Hong Kong" and the 2026 "Policy Address," accelerating the establishment of a new industrial development system and nurturing leading enterprises in emerging and future industries in Hong Kong. After careful evaluation by the review committee, a total of eight enterprises emerged from over 100 nominations to receive the title of "Hong Kong New Industrial Elite Enterprise."
Selected Enterprises and Their Sectors
The selected enterprises span a wide range of sectors, including life and health technology, artificial intelligence and robotics, semiconductors and smart devices, digitalization and upgrading transformation, as well as sustainable development. These enterprises include not only well-known local companies but also century-old businesses and startups that have transformed research outcomes from local universities, showcasing the diverse vitality of Hong Kong's new industrial development.
